Things to do before I kick the proverbial and shuffle off this mortal whatsit...

Take a nap on a Sunday in the southern Adirondacks	Sounds dreamy. (Preferably in the autumn. Just think of the colours!)
Take a trip on a bullet train	Woo! Fastness!
See Fuji-san	Volcanic awesomeness!
Sample the nightlife of downtown Tokyo	Lights! Sounds! People!
Visit the Great Pyramids at Giza	History, culture and magnificence!	✔
Visit Uluru	Geology, culture and magnificence!
Ski down an Alp	Woo! More fastness!	✔
Take a tour of Iceland	Geology, culture and volcanic magnificence!
Win a coveted award	Just a little recognition would be nice.	✔

Morning I don't trust that flag.counter, i have one too but just for fun and see the flags sometimes, it is very colourful but wow mine is Portugal i often visit you and it is always there the number 1

Are you going to travel Rob??
BTW, Iceland must be too icy yet!
And that of route 66 one, where is it... in UK? Why is it related with rock?
But wow what a list eh? That of the bullet train i'd love it for sure!

  The flag counter is based on visitors rather than visits, so if the same person visits my site many times they'll only be counted as one visitor. Anyway, you'll always be my number 1 from Portugal!
  
  I hope to start travelling a bit more than I have for a while. I haven't left the UK in over 8 years!
  
  As for Route 66, it's in the United States and it was popularised by this song.

I suspect that some of these aims are much more do-able than others, with 15 items on th list and some of them rather expensive. I suggest that you get to work on them straight away. Is your Berlin ticket booked yet? if not, just do it

    la_spice and GilraenH have booked apartments, maybe you could talk to them and ask them if they have any room.

you know NotBob you are the only person I know who will really list all the things that you wanted to do...You know I really don't have time to make a list...I just put it in my mind but the problem is that I easily forget all my plans. While I'm reading your list, it makes me wonder that you are an awesome adventurous guy...
