It's true that once you've passed - oh, about 35, I'd say - you become invisible to the world. But don't let that scare you. Your happiness doesn't solely depend on having partner. It depends on what you make of your life.
And you're not dead yet. If you think you've missed something in life, do it now! You still have a lot of time to catch up on those missed opportunities. You just have to do it (and I'm not advertising Nike).

Goodness me - 38 is no sort of age for a fella! It's not like you're nearing the end of your childbearing years or anything, as might be the case if you were a woman! Don't forget there's plenty of women who actually prefer older men too! There are LOADS of women out there that you haven't met yet, and your Mrs Right is one of them

You're the same age as me (almost - think I'm a year older).
I'm in the dumps, too, mate - but somehow always manage to clutch success from the jaws of defeat.
