Seems a bit silly after four days off sick to be going in to work just for the one day, but I have to do it. Even if it's only to check on the state of my equipment after receiving a frantic phone call yesterday morning asking for the password to my computer.
*hope I didn't leave anything incriminating on there - not that I would*
Still, it'll get me out of the house and out from under my parents' feet, and you never know, I may even work up an appetite.

Pro I don't think I would go into work, i would spend the last day of the working week recovering properly - another day won't make a scrap of difference will it? If there had been a real problem they would have let you know - and why are they ringing you when you are off anyway - hope they had a really good reason x

ah i did the same thing last week, if i had waited to go back monday instead of 4 days sick they would have recorded 7 days sick, after 14 days total in one year you receive a stage 1 warning for attendance, oh the joy of working here
