I think the title sums it all up, really. That's what I need to be using when I get a spare moment or two.
Yes, I'm going on about my coat again.
Saddle soap to give its leathery goodness back to it, boot polish to tidy up the hem where it has dragged occasionally on stairs and uneven ground, and buttons because I've lost two in the last week.
Then I need to send it back to Higgs Leathers for a minor repair. The seam on the left shoulder, which I use predominantly to carry my lappy bag on, has started to come apart.
Oh well, it's only been five months since I got it and I've been wearing it every day. These things happen.

I adore the smell of leather soap! Reminds me of being a kid and polishing up the tack before riding!
The coat should'nt have split regardless of carrying the lappy bag on it..My old leather jacket that I had in my 'yoof I wore to death as to say..and that lasted years without a single split! xx
